A COMFORTABLE, COUNTRY GUEST HOUSE IN ROSEBUD

We fell in love with Rosebud after our family moved here in 2006. In June of 2020, we purchased our first building in town and, by December, opened the Rosebud Guest House.

Located at 221A Highway 50, the Rosebud Guest House sits inside a nearly 100-year-old building that has served many purposes over the years—including Rosebud’s original hardware store, bars, a TV repair shop, private residences, and even an antique store. We like to think this chapter will be its last.

The building has been thoughtfully divided into two separate spaces. The front portion, facing Highway 50, is dedicated retail space. The rear portion is home to the Rosebud Guest House.

Designed with cozy, country comfort in mind, the guest house is a one-bedroom, one-bath unit featuring a kitchenette with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, oversized refrigerator and freezer, plus complimentary coffee and snacks. The bedroom includes a king-size bed, while the living room offers a queen-size sleeper sofa with a foam mattress topper, a 50-inch smart TV, and access to a private porch with seating for four.

Guests can easily walk to local antique shops, coffee spots, and restaurants, or take a short drive to popular nearby destinations like Hermann and Owensville. Whether you’re visiting for wine country, shopping, events, or a quiet getaway, the Rosebud Guest House offers a convenient and comfortable home base.

Welcome to the country. We look forward to your stay,
Nick & Olivia Clancy
